Yechidah – or Essence of Oneness – is the essence of the soul in complete union with God and is the highest level the soul can reach.

“These [higher] souls do not have any detectable influence on the body, and do not add to or subtract from man’s vitality or sensations. The only function of these [higher] souls is with respect to man’s true essence and appropriate association with the highest Roots.” (The Way of God, 3:1:4)

Thus chayah and yechidha remain external to the body and represent the highest level of supernal understanding only few individuals can attain. Yet, these levels of consciousness beckon and respond, up and down the divine soul-chain, to those who yearn to nullify the lesser self for the ultimate expression of love and Selfhood, where all personal attachments and desires are consumed by a Greater Love.

This is Ultimate Union.
