"I acknowledge You, for I am awesomely, wondrously fashioned. Wonderful are Your works, and my soul knows it well."
Tehillim/Psalm 139:14

King David sees the Creator in every atom of existence. For him, all of creation sings vibrantly to God of His Artistry and Authorship. In this verse the psalmist says, “I acknowledge You,” and it is these words that open spiritual vision and allow us to step outside our limited perceptions.

When we become conscious of the moment-to-moment miracles granted to our bodies to maintain life, we are lifted to new heights of awareness and gratitude. In this exalted place, we are filled with awe and wonder at the miracles within and all around us. This joy is the natural state of the soul that knows no separation from its Creator.

How awesome is the gathering of cells that create the baby in the mother’s womb! This renewal of cells continues as the ongoing presence of divine creation until our souls no longer need their bodies in this form.

Pause each day this month to contemplate an aspect of your body’s miraculous design, and say unequivocally, “I acknowledge You.”
