Teferet, meaning “splendor,” is the sixth of the ten sefirot recongized in Kabbalah. It is found in the middle of the sefirot configuration, acting as the “heart” of the divine attributes.

It's position below, yet connecting, Gevurah (strength) and Chessed (lovingkindness). It it said that Teferet resolves the spiritual conflict between the two polar opposites. Strength is needed to survive and succeed in this world, but too much can cause calousness.

Lovingkindness is needed to establish positive relationships between individuals, but too much can be taken advantage of by others. Teferet recongizes both in their proper place, much like two horns of a ram, to be used together productively and in harmonious balance.
